Bought some N 69 surplus powder. Its labeled made in Scotland so could be a Nobel product. Its rated faster than 2400 and the load data sent with it shows 357 mag velocities with a powder charge about 2 gr less than 2400. Its very coarse and light grey. It's large flat discs. I like 2400 for a lot of Mil-surp rifles. Anyone ever run across this stuff? Mel

I got 2 pounds of the stuff from Higginson Powders in Ontario. I contacted Andrew Higginson for some load data, and all he could supply was 358 gr. bullet for .357 Mag. and 240 gr. for .44 Mag. He did say however that the powder was indeed Nobel powder. When I did a web search, I couldn't find any info about that powder of manufacturer.
