It's a 10-5 which I purchased for a shooter. It was kind of dirty in the picture. I had a bunch of 158 SWC machine cast bullets with hard, smoky lube I put through it loaded with 3.5 grain of Promo. There's only a few of these left & I'll convert it to the Saeco 928 & Carnuba Red. Here's a better picture of the little sixgun.

Nice looking revolver! I love the old S&W guns. Here is one of my favorite shooters. It is actually a Victory Model, but someone buffed and blued it and changed the grips. Still shoots unbelievably well after all these years.

Love those old hammers Vly. Another thing I like about my M-10 is the sights are easy to see.

I actually had to put pants on instead of shorts two whole days this year!!!!!!

It is 86 degrees here in deep south Texas, "on the border by the sea". I have a 1966 Model 10 that did duty with the Montreal police before falling into my hands. I don't have a pic, so these will have to do. Two Smith and Wesson Military and Police sixguns, one 1913 (4") and the other 1931 (5"). Both are great shooters. My favorite load for both is Lyman 358311 3.5/Bullseye. The duplicates the old 158 grain RN service load and shoots to the sights in all of them.

I have some Victory model internals, but no sure if I have what you want. I will take a look tomorrow and let you know.

I don't fine a "hand spring" on the standard Smith and Wesson schematic. Could you be more specific about the part.

Made it to 45 here today. Sitting on 35 at present with this statement:

HERE IS A SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE...

AREAS OF SLEET... FREEZING RAIN... OR EVEN SNOW ARE EXPECTED THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS OF WEST VIRGINIA. THIS MAY CREATE SLICK TRAVEL THIS EVENING... PARTICULARLY ACROSS ANY UNTREATED ROADWAYS. DRIVE SLOWER... AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME IF TRAVELING.

Thanks for the reply, Char-Gar. Need hand spring. This is a S&W K-Frame,
38 special, Serial No. V 528xxx, made in 1942. 5 screw model, with one
of the screws under the trigger guard. Property of US government, Navy
Pilots, FBI, and some civilian guards.
This gun is apart, but I don't have a camera to show you the trigger and hand.
I've never seen the spring, it broke and fell out.
The spring goes somewhere in the area where the trigger and hand attech to each
other. Pull trigger and hand rotates the cylinder. Spring holds hand against
cylinder.
I have't found a achematic of this Model S&W yet.Went to gun show 2 weeks ago.
Old fellow had S&W parts. Sold me a trigger with a spring inside. It was a little
bit different than my trigger.
