I know I've been rather absent lately. Please don't think I've forgotten about youns. I just haven't had much time to read and respond to posts. I read them, all of them, but often don't have time to respond. Life is very hectic lately. Im not leaving though, ill be around lurking here somewhere. It's my only sense of sanity lately ;-)

Got a call from the insurance people today. Yup it's totaled. They put the value at $30,240, and he has $27,983.12 in damage. OUCH. Drive shaft, all the suspension, air bags, from and rear windshield, needs a new transmission, and body work on all 4 sides plus the frame is bent in on driver and passenger side. The adjuster said I should feel great full that I am only filing a car insurance claim and not a life insurance claim. How's that for a daily dose of reality! Sooo now the truck buying begins. Chase finance got a free $680 from us this month be abuse our payment was made early but not due untill the 12th. SMH. Guess next time around I won't be so responsible and make my payments 1 month ahead. Looking at a 2008 ford f250 with the entertainment and towing package, good price at only 20k. I hate car shopping.

Glad everyone's OK. If it's the 6.4 diesel be afraid, be very afraid. If it's the 5.4 V8 or 6.8 V10 it should be OK.

Went with a 2009 Dodge Ram crew cab instead. She's pretty, a medium blue color. And loud as heck too.
