Crimp

Just curious whats your preffered crimp?Taper or roll on your blackpowder cartridges.

Roll for revolver cartridges, none at all for rifles. Usually those are shot with slip fit paper patched boolits.

Pistol and levergun type cartridges a roll crimp. Single shot rifle cartridges no crimp.

im still undecided which if any helps or hinders. from reading I could ... as well ... make an educated guess on the plus and minus for the crimp and the crimp design but I have yet to get that far with my experiments in any particular rifle so I am interested in these answers my self.
