I bought this 6 cav mould from a fellow member a couple months or more ago. I hadn't tried it out until yesterday and found it dropped 359-360 and weighed 165 gr. cast from WW. The fact that the BB has been removed (either by me or former owner, can't remember) may add a few grains to the weight. I thought it was going to be a bit heavy for 38 Special, which is our primary need. One son has a 357 Mag but he lives in Florida and I haven't reloaded for his pistols yet. Today I loaded some, sized 359, and lubed with Ben's Red over 4 gr. Win. 231 and was very pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and the fact it shoots to the same POA that the 125 gr. RN boolits do. I'm liking this mould very much. I had a couple squib loads due to my Lee Auto Disc measure needing cleaning. I caught it early and was expecting the squibs, so no big deal. The two boolits stuck about half way through the barrel and I tapped them through and they had fit the bore very nicely. This mould casts very well and drops boolits like melted butter. It may become my favorite 38 mould.

I have that mold in a double cavity. It does cast nice and I like the bullet. A friend has shot some of them a bragged on the accuracy with a charge of Clays. I've not had the opportunity to try them myself.

I have the 2 cav too and really like it. I ground the beval base off with a Dremal and it drops .360-.361 and 165gr. Its my favorite 357 boolit.
I am going to get a 6 cav, but I might send it off to have the beval removed professionally.

It is a very nice mold.

Mine has the BB and I find it very accurate.

Yup. That is a good mold. Really produces boolits fast and those suckers are very accurate IMO. MTGunner told me about them and a load that works very good. I can hit tin cans at 100 yds and that is pretty darn good for my eyes. I wish I would have found this combo much sooner. I have the BB but works great.

I also bought this mould in 6 cavity and man does it empty a lead pot in a hurry.I'm glad I purchased it.This is my first Lee 6- pack.Excellent casts right from the start, with a hot plate warm-up. Shoot very nice in my Ruger 4" Security Six 357 with 4gr 231

Based on owner/user reviews, this is a really nice design, BB and all.
