I picked up these two magazines off of gunbroker. There where advertised as SIG 220 45ACP mags but when I got them I discovered that they are actually 9mm magazines. The seller made good on his part. He refunded my money + one 45ACP magazine and told me to keep or send the 9mm ones back. I attempted to send the two 9mm mags back but they got returned to me saying the address was "invalid." I was hoping someone here might be able to tell me which model SIG these are for. The only marking on them is "SIG Sauer" on the left side and they hold 8 rounds.

My guess is that they are for a 220 in 9mm but I would like to know for sure.

They look like my SIG 225 mags. P6 mags are identical to the 225. Are there any identifying markings on the sides or on the baseplate ?

Probably SIG 225/P6 mags. Rare as hens teeth a couple of years ago when
30-40K of ex-German Fed Police P6's were imported. Now SIG is finally catching
up and making more mags. I bought some extras for mine.

The reason I know is that I came VERY close to buying a 220 .45 ACP mag for
my P6/225 at a gun show, they look nearly identical.

If you go to this page and click on the picture at the right you will see a 9mm P220 magazine. The 9mm mag for the P220 has a ridge running down each side to account for the fact that the 220 has a .45 ACP wide magwell and the 9mm is smaller in diameter.

Your mag looks like a P6/P225 mag as others have mentioned. Here is the P225 mag:
