How many of you have brought up Google to do a search today, and noticed that there is no mention of Easter and the resurrection of Jesus Christ-but there is a paen to the birthday of Cesar Chavez?
The Liberal plan seems to be to strip all mention of religious observance and eradicate all Christian ideals from our minds (and most certainly, the minds of our children)- in other words, put us all in our place as are the rest of the drones.
Well, it isn't going to work with me or mine.

So very true. Liberals hate all that is decent. Fortunately there will always be some that refuse to be brain-washed.

Christ is in my heart, now and always.
He died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead, they can't take that away.
They also can't shoot all the watchmen from the wall.
The country is and has been run by the evil ones, don't let is discourage you.
Read the end of the book again,---------------We win--------they loose.

Yup, my goto search engine. Yahoo as usual abstains from anything but commercialism.

Ignorance is death. Teach conservative values. Embrace freedom and her refuge from tryanny. Continue to teach those whom you cherish and love. Your words and actions will outlive the communist intentions of google and our enemies desire.

Kinda figures with the liberal media. But regardless I have seen some good articles today. http://www.wnd.com/2013/03/new-research-removes-shroud-of-doubt/

My wife mentioned she has not seen any Easter TV programs for kids this year. You know Easter Bunny and all that.

Don't know what you mean? When I typed in just "eas" Easter popped up and the first 7 topics were religious before it turned seculuar.

Not pertaining to kids really, but was refreshing to see in these times; one of the cable programs on Friday night had a 2-3 hr progran on Jesus and the Resurection.

I think the OP was refering to the wallpaper that most used to display on their hompages. Up until a few( 5?) years ago Foooogle lead the way with interesting ways to incorperate their logo with various holidays and religious observances.

Never look at Google. I run "Google Sharing" (a Google blocking add-in) with my Firefox. Use DuckDuckGo or Ixquick search engines. Google = "Evil is a feature, not a bug."

I quit voluntarily using Google and anything related to Google including Earth and Maps when I learned that they keep a record of your traffic for 90 days. I don't do anything wrong; just don't think they need to keep records on me. It's hard to avoid them 100%, though, because many websites work in conjunction with Google's advertising. I did a search for a sheetrock lift a few days ago and now get Google based ads for sheetrock lifts even though the search was from Bing.

My ISP became a Baja Broadband company last year. I refused to use them for e-mail when they let it slip that the bajabb.com e-mail address was hosted by Google's G-mail.

I wasn't writing about doing a search for Easter, I was commenting that there is no mention of Easter or Jesus' resurrection on the TITLE page- instead they honor Cesar Chavez.

Cameras are all covered and all devices are switched off where GPS etc. are concerned. The map functions on my phones are only accurate to the nearest node and no vehicles have on star or similar.

And yes, as with Mr. Orwell's book it's paifully obvious how "some pigs are more equal than others".......(Can't recall the exact wording.)

Obviously I am NOT computer savvy and I can understand blocking Google etc. But we, as a nation are being tracked in so many ways. Any time we use a card of any kind ie... Kroger store, any gas station rewards card etc... the info is being used to track us. When I stop at Cabelas, they will ask for my phone number. Orwell's 1984 always comes to mind.

The bank debit card you really can't do with out these days, I use mine but if I can withdraw cash enough for a week I will. I haven't had a cc for over 10 years and all those reward cards are just numbers. I can't recall how many times I have been asked for my personal info for them but they never get it. "But sir, I can't issue you one with out a mailing addy and phone #." Says me, Then I guess I'll shop someplace else...

Another to add to the are you kidding me list....Deluth Trading. I ordered some pants from them and all of a sudden I get a flood of wholesale "Sharper Image" reject catalogues coming in the mail.....sheesh.

One good thing you can do for yourself is get an account with www.outdrs.net. This is an ISP that I started with years ago when dial-up was the only option, but I've kept it because it gives me email addresses that are not tracked or scanned, and when the satellite goes out due to heavy weather or solar storms I can still get online, albeit rather slowly. Yeah, it costs me a few bucks extra per month, but I like the security.

And let me say again, if you hate the ads and the popups, download and run Firefox, and install Adblock, Ghostery, and Google Sharing. I never see a popup ad, I can block 100% of the little snooper programs that so many sites try to load on your computer, (some sites send as many as twenty of the little sneakers every time you click in), and Google does not see my browsing choices. Life is good.

In my opinion, Google is pure evil. One of the founders is a Russian, they are FAR left
and hate all things that are normal, American, patriotic and right wing. I absolutely
refuse to make money for them by using their site. Besides, they twist their searches
to avoid anything that is not Pro-Obama, Pro-leftist, etc.

I use bing and at least get to have a fairly neutral search engine with BEAUTIFUL photos,
a different one each day.
