The stock is still unfinished. The scope mount has been tweeked for windage but its still about 120 MOA tipped instead of the 25 MOA I was trying for. So its pretty much 14" high at 25yds with max scope adjustment downward. The barrel is a 24" wilson arms #7 profile.

Chambered in .30-284 winchester.

Heres a closer shot of the scope base system.

The stock is glass bedded at the recoil lug, chamber area of the barrel, rear reciever tang, floor plate and the barrel channel is sealed.

Looks great

Just 1 question
You may have posted this before , but why the 120MOA scope base ?
Long range stuff ?

Nice job Dan! Interesting cartridge choice. Any certian reason you went with it? The sight base really puts that scope up high. Is it tough to get into it with a good cheek weld without an adjustable cheek piece?

the base was supose to be 25 moa, not 120 moa. I messed up my math somewhere or maybe the mill bed wasn't level?

the .30-284 came about cause i had a .30 cal barrel, 6mm-284 brass and I love bending brass. Actually don't use a cheek weld, I sent the upper part of my lower jaw against the comb and that gets the best accuracy for me.

the stock needs to be finished yet

heres the results at 100yds, thats 4 shots. The arrow points two the first two shots. Three and four went a bit wide. I seem to have picked up a flinch over the summer though.[smilie=b:
