Was at the local little gun shop yesterday and he had a brand new talo limited run 3 3/4 birdshead vaquero in 45acp. Its sure is a cool little piece. Now if i can find a way to come up with 600 bucks!

Those do look cool! I probably wouldn't purchase one because my hands and the bird's head grips don't get along.
My eyes are not fond of the Vaquero sights either.
If you can find that $600, don't count on me to disuade you.

I saw one of these also. They are really sweet. Plus it is a birdshead. Have you seen the bearcat done the same way?

I'd be feeling the same way as you. If you're desperate enough, you'll find a way to get that cash.

John my buddy bought one of the bearcats and its real cute. I was allways one that preached against the birdsheads fitting my hands too. I had a 32 single six birdshead and sold it because i just couldnt shoot it. this vaquero feels altogether differnt in my hands. A bit longer and not so fat in the grips. It sure isnt a bisley but i could probably get used to it.

Lloyd, I have an original vaquero birdshead. The grips are defiantly larger. I want one of those new ones.

Lay-away is your friend ;-) Besides that if you was really desparate you could collect the bounty on beverage containers . The down side is at ten cents each it would take a long time to get the gun out of hock .
