I sold a mold to a fella that was bordering on being called a friend from up there and it took just short of three months to get it to him through the mail. By the second month, we were no longer speaking.

So bottom line, sometimes it just ain't worth the aggravation.

I also think that when your market sits at 300 mill . Way more than you can tap into in your widest dream. If theres even so much as the thought of a hassle why would you bother if only to turn 300 to 330. Hell even if there isnt the inkling of a hassle, still why bother. If we can get things reversed back to the 60's when our buck was a buck12 U.S. they'll extend the effort. They did then and they will again for 12% more payola

charger the US Mail box is great till you can't get down there to get your package because you are busy or sick. Then the parcel just gets sent back and that causes more troubles than it is worth. Been there done that got the T shirt.
Ken.

Theres two things that have me miffed on this. One is the company by company rules. The other is the fact that growing up I had two best friends. Ah we were the three amigos. One guy retired states side couple years back and we had an agreement that if he still wanted anything from here we'd get it to him and if there was anything there it could be shipped to him. Buddy up here used up what american buddies wife thought was a reasonable 20 yr quota in about the first week. Till he was forced to say No more....Oh and guess of the two up here who took the time to send U.S. buddy what he wanted

Miffed? Naaaa, doesn't show.

If I was a business, I would never trust my reputation to these organizations if something had to leave the country.

That's why there's always FEDEX and UPS if you want to pay $40 / $45 for $14 worth of stuff.

I guess the biggest thing for me is that this really isnt the main issue. It's the straw on the camel. If you look at the way our two countries used to get along, and now we're becomming like a north and south korea. Its tragic. Used to be pretty much one north america till the beurorats pi$$ed that away

If you listen to CBC or any of the mainstream press from Canada, the US IS the worlds biggest problem and it's a shame poor Canada is shackled with us for a neighbor.

Met a guy from Calgary at a gun show in Cody, years ago, and we decided that the thing to do was to redraw the boundary between Canada and the U.S. Instead of east and west, make it north and south, right up the Mississippi to the North Pole. Eastern America for the libs, Western America for the rest of us.

I made it to Calgary once in '74.
Finest people I ever met in ten yrs trucking.
They'd heard me yapping on the cb and a bunch of 'em met me south of town ten miles for escort duty.

Great visit, way too short.
Sincerely hope that part hasn't changed.

Well, I suppose when our governments get through combining Canada, the US and Mexico into the North American Union, and we're all spending Ameros, it shouldn't be a problem any more. Of course, they may well not allow guns any more either.
