Just bought a browning bpcr. The soule sight windage knob is to hard to turn by hand, do I need to oil it or loosen the screw on the other side? Don't want to mess up anything. Thanks in advance.

The left and right barrel (sight knobs) thread together to adjust the friction. Likely the last person to have it did not know how to adjust them. Happens alot. The screw you see unlocks the two barrels to change the friction. I think, if memory is correct, that is a left handed thread so heads up.
If you can't get it I might have a Browning diagram around here some place. It is not that hard but if some ham handed person cranked on it, it may need some cranking to get it loose so you can adjust it again.

The looser the two barrels are the easier it is to make a sight adjustment but the more slop the staff will have so try to get it adjusted so it is tight but not too tight.

Let me know if this helps.
