I haven't purchased new dies in awhile. Which company makes a good .380 CARBIDE die set? I always bought RCBS, but just asking. Thanks!:?:

I have RCBS in everything carbide in pistol calibers and they have served me well. I am very satiafied with them and Rcbs service line.

I'm using the Lee 380 Carbide Dies with Factory Crimp Die and they do a great job for me.

I'm an RCBS guy but I did buy a set of Hornady dies for the 38. While I like the seater die adjustment better on the Hornady I think the RCBS sizer die is a lot smoother then Hornady. I can size 44 mags with RCBS easier then 38 with the Hornady dies. I do have a set of 380 Hornady dies on back order though. While I own Lee crimp dies, bullet molds and push through bullet sizing dies I just can't bring myself to buy there reloading die sets.

Likewise. Have never had a problem with any of my Lee die sets.

I have a carbide set from RCBS and they have served me well. I own both RCBS and Hornady and like them both.

Lee makes good dies and are MUCH cheaper than other brands. Straight walled handgun rounds are reloaded fine with Lee carbide dies

I ended up with two sets of dies, new lee and used Hornady. I kept and use the Lee and sold the Hornady to a friend. I've never had a problem with my Lee dies.

This is what I use also. They are the only Lee set I have. All my other ones are RCBS. I have not had a problem with the Lees or the RCBS. So I guess it is up to you. Don't think you will go wrong with either one.

I think all dies from just about any company is lifetime warranty. I have been ordering Hornady dies I like they way the first set I got work well, also u get a rebate for 100 free bullets.

My .380 dies are Lee, no problems with them.

Technically, no one makes a carbide die "set". The only part that's carbide is basically a thick washer that sits in the mouth of the sizer, everything else is normal steel. That said, no one makes bad dies.
