Here it is. Ram raises on the upstroke and appears to have a collet type punch holder most likely for bullet swaging????????
Thanks for looking!

Wow ICH, you have another Jewel there! Late 40's early 50s' ???
I don't know what model it is, but I believe it fits somewhere between the weldjobs and your A model. I believe your handle lever can be adjusted for up or down stroke. And maybe the primer feed mechanism is a new introduction?
I sure Pressman will have the scoop and corrections. And he will like to see this as well.
Congrats!

That would be cool!

RCBS Universal shellholder. Some had three springs to hold the collet ring, early ones did not. Lowering the ram pops the collet up releasing the cartridge. These were a short lived idea, there were three sizes required to fit all case heads. Nice find!

The two early pre A presses. One the top with a Herter's shellholder adapter and on the bottom with a swaging punch holder.

You just gotta know where to look! ;)
I stumbled upon these. Literally. They were in an old shed and the lights didn't work.
