I have a fair amount of monotype and linotype for which I have no need. All of my casting is done with wheelweights. What would be a reasonable trade ratio of linotype to WW ingots or monotype to WW ingots?

it depends on whom you are trading to...
you'd have to force 20 pounds of lino on me for a pound of ww alloy.
if I had 1500 pounds of pure i'd swap ww's for lino about 2/3-1

My self i would hang on to it, at times you may find that you need some as WW alloy is being phased out for wheel weights on cars . i just ended up with about 400+ lbs of soft lead that neededs to be alloyed up in hardness to be used for cast bullets.
But if you have to trade! id say 1lb of linotype for 2 to 3 lbs of WW .
for 1 lb of Monotype for 3 to 4 lbs of WW.
Just my guess !
