here is my adaptation of the Gate Latch primer shutoff that has been shown on here. It is made of materials I had on hand. The rod with the Red knob on it is tensioned by a ball detent and spring under the set screw that faces the camera. The rod (1/4" bolt) has the end turned round and two grooves turned in it ona lathe with a watchmakers graver.
The body of the tool is a piece of 6061 Al. I milled to a more pleasing shape. It is mounted on factory drilled and tapped holes.
