I've used the search function, and can't seem to find it: Awhile ago, I read a thread on here stating that a freshly cast bullet can be dropped in a revolver's cylinder, to determine if it of the right diameter or not. I just can't remember if it was ok for it to drop out the front, stick in it, or what? I dont feel like slugging the cylinder, but quickly like to see if my cast/sized bullets are the right fit. Any more info on this would be appreciated! Thanx-

You've got the right idea. Drop a boolit in the chamber, it should not fall through. If it does, it's too small or the throat is too big. It should take a pretty good shove to get the boolit through the throat, say five pounds of pressure.
