I am brand new to reloading. A buddy of mine found some Missouri Bullets at the local gun show this past weekend. He reloads cast himself, but in 45. I have everything I need to start loading except data. I have 1lb of Alliant Powder "Bullseye" (the ONLY powder that I could even get my hands on) , 1000k CCI #500 small pistol primers, and enough boolits to keep me the girlfriend and her 2 boys shooting for a few months. I have access to most of the popular reloading books but was curious if anyone here had any experience with this exact boolit/powder combo?

Thanks

Welcome!
be careful with that fast burning powder and heavy bullets in the .40

Alliant shows a 200gr FMJ bullet and a MAXIMUM load of 4.6gr. Personally I'd start at 2.8gr or 3.0gr and work up. What gun are you loading for?

Go easy with that fast powder. For new loaders, I don't like to see them use anything faster than Winchester 231 as a first powder.
