Magazine, Alex, not clip. The only ones fueling the "debate" he speaks of are the ones insisting on using the wrong terminology.

I wouldn't mind some 3D printable clips, especially if they'd be compatible with the existing spoon loader that allows you to charge a magazine.

I didn't realize that the 3d printable lower had come so far so fast. Just last month, I could swear that I heard it was only holding up for use with a .22lr conversion.

I really wish I could afford a 3d printer. I'd could save up for a while and probably swing the machine, but learning to use it and printing all sorts of stuff would probably put me in the poor house.

Good point about clips & mags. Let them regulate clips to 10 rounds max, as long as they don't regulate mags.

As for 3-d printers being high priced, they have come way down. Back when they were called solid modeling machines, the prices were over $100k each. Then they cam down around $70k & $50k, etc. The last time that I was talking to a production engineer at a jewelry factory, he told me that you could now get a basic model for around $5k. I'm not sure if he was talking new or used. I've never gone to price them myself. I also don't know what the operating expenses are.

#1 son, the computer geek is assembling one for $500.00-750.00. At least that is what he claims it will cost. Makes all sorts of plastic parts say he.
