WTB- Cutts Compensator for 12 ga

I have a Savage pump shotgun project I'm working on. I would like to us a Cutts compensator or one of similar design. I know a lot of guys have lopped them off old hunting barrels and was hoping to get a hold one. Anyone have on laying about?

a guy at alot of my local gunshows has box of chokes and breaks and i saw what i think your talking about. your talking about one that has slots on top and bottom of the break, correct? it had 5 or 6 slots on top and bottom

Yep, that's the one. They typically had different chokes that could be threaded on the end.

Choke body is easy to find, chokes not too hard , but it's the barrel to body adaptor that is tough to get. If you find the whole deal lopped off a barrel, a machinist can bore out the old barrel and size the adaptor to fit yours.
