I am looking for opinions on the best lead hardness tester made. By "best" I mean ease of operation takes second place only to accuracy.

Right now I am anxiously hoping Cabin Tree gets some more produced soon, but figured while I am waiting I may as well see if there is a better/different option I should be looking at. Quality is the priority here, as I am trying to round out my ideal reloading/casting setup.

I'd wait for Cabine Tree to restock, its very easy to use and seems to be very consistent from my experience.

cabin tree for ease of use and best overall. The Lee is the best cheap one to get'cha a tester. I have one of each and the Cabin Tree wins hands down. I bought a Lee (for $40) as a secon to leave at my camp. It is not nearly as easy to use, but it is accurate and less than half the price. I'm sure i'll purchase a second Cabin Tree sooner or later, but until then the Lee does a fine job too
