Afternarket target sights for the Savage MK II

I just bought a used Savage MK II and wondered if the "peep" sights with the hooded front sight used on the target model can be installed on this rifle. I know the front sight will have to be taller but can the rear sight be installed on an undrilled recever??

Does the rifle have a grooved receiver or is it drilled and tapped on top? The reason I ask is Williams made a receiver sight that attached on a grooved receiver. Also check out air gun sites for a receiver site.

Thanks Doc, it is grooved on top so I'll check out the reciever sight by Williams. I'll check out the airgun sites as well.
