I was wondering if any one here had experience with a Remington XP-100 in 7mm Benchrest. I have a chance to pick one up for what seems a GOOD price with Loading dies neck turner and 300 1x and 2x fired cases. Total round count through the gun is less than 500. What is a fair price for this pistol and how good is it?

I would buy that. I have one in 7BR. Adding the brass and dies takes almost half the cost. I use mine for IHMSA with cast or jacketed. Very Very accurate, reasonable recoil.
If you get it, look me up.

Not sure of the going price

But besides punching paper or steel targets

I used mine to deer hunt with
It made short work of several nice deer

That is a very good price for a great pistol.

The most accurate handgun I ever fired--bar none!! They cost that much new 20 years ago. If it meets your needs, buy it. If it doesn't, buy it anyway. "you'll make a hundred bucks reselling it.

$550 - $650 for plain pistol, plus add value of brass & dies.

A+ on the XP 100 , ive had 2 in 221 fireball and still have one custom built by Brown in 7 IHMSA exceptionaly accurate handguns, inch groups or usually better at 100 yards is to be expected with the right load and shooter ablity. Ive personaly have done better than a inch at 200 yards with the 7 IHMSA.
