Does anyone know the screw size for the adjustment screw on this double-set trigger? I need to get a longer one as this one seems a bit short. Screwed all the way in it is still pretty heavy even when set. I know it is metric, but didn't have any luck with my thread checker.

Don't know the thread size, but the local hardware has them, so they are common. Take the old one with you.

Best to take the trigger plate with you so you can try the screw in the hole. Personally, I would drill and tap the hole to take a U.S. thread. Also, consider stoning the sear engagement surfaces on the set trigger. That might negate the need for a longer screw.

A longer screw wont help much as the triggers are set up with a safety hook and if you try and set them too light the hook either slows the set trigger or the hook slaps the front trigger and tingles your finger. The triggers need to be honed, hardened and modified for a really good pull of say 1 pound crisp.

I got my Davis Deerslayer trigger in three days from here.

At 48 bucks delivered it was the cheapest price I found and they had them in stock as of last Monday. It's worth the money in my opinion. It says it's for a T/C but it dropped right into my Lyman.

If anyone would know its size? >TOTW would. They sell GRP rifle kits.

the screw from a set of t/c triggers will fit. I recently overhauled a set of lyman triggers & i also used the t/c leaf spring & screw.
