Hi,

I am looking for some load recommendations for 38 special. I am using Titegroup with CCI550s. I am using a 125gr LRNFP. I have seen recommendations for 3.2 - 3.8gr and seems that 3.5gr is fairly accurate. Anyone have experience with this combination?

I have been shooting a GP100 weekly at a PPC match and have been doing really well. I got a 578/600 this last week, I was rather happy! But I am out of ammo, out of my old Berry's plated and have to switch boolits and have ammo put together for this next week.

Let me know what has worked for you.

Thank you much!

I have shot the Oregon Trail Laser Cast and Lee 125 gr FN with 3.2 grains of Titegroup in CAS for years. A very nice load, at least for me.

I use Tightgroup at around 3.2 grains with a Lee 125 grain RN as a kind of universal, go to , do all 38 load. I believe Tighgroup burns a little hotter than other stuff, lke BE, or particularly Unique, and smkes a little more( lube) but it is accurate, clean and cheap.
