These are the first of the first 35 pounds. Sure are pretty.

They sure do look purdy. At the risk of appearing to be stupid, what is that machine???

VERY Nice LAH!! The lube in the groove looks PERFECT!!
What lube do you use and what sizer lubricator to get that quality?

unless i miss my guess the boolit is sitting on top of an air cylinder, probably the one for the star sizer that applied the lube.

you are sizing down what? about .002 ish.
i seat that boolits shoulder flush with my cases mouth, and never have a problem with them in anything.

Just a guess, but that boolit looks like NOE's very own version of the H&G 34. I have that mold,
but haven't cast with it yet !! Nice they (NOE) put the full diameter front band on there to avoid
luber issues - probably helps with accuracy also. Mike

Those boolits were sized nose first in a Star Lubrisizer with what appears to be LBT Blue lube.

OK, first thanks for looking at the thread.

Jim..47 the machine is the what runriverun said, the air lube feed for a Star.

Chilmonty the sizer & lube are that which cbrick said, a Star & LBT lube.

runfiverun I didn't measure the raw bullet before sizing. I meant to but I was using the bullet feed & before you know there were none left to measure.

captaint is correct, the mould is an NOE 454-230-RN.

And cbrick is correct in that the boolits were sized nose first.

Very interesting looking machine. I'll bet that takes more time to set up than run the bullets. (Just my guess, and probably a stupidone) Don't think I'll ever have one of those. Too much money and I've run out of room for my toys.

Jim there is a learning curve to deal with when you purchase a Star but it is doable. At present you can get into a plain Jane model for 'bout 300.00. And remember it's all manual.

This one has the optional bullet feed.

Looks to be a really well made machine. I remember guys from another forum talking about them and how they just don't wear out, and hold their value for ever. If I had that many years left in me I would consider one, but I'm not sure how much longer my crippled hands will hold out.

On the bright side, I did pop for a new pistol a few weeks back. Bought my first Glock. Its .40 S&W caliber. Its all I can handle and may have to down load a bit, either that or get some smaller mold sizes.

Do you have an idea of which may be the best in order to maintain a little stopping power? That is for self defense. I never thought I would have to worry about that, but now I'm even having bad dreams about our government and all.

Really nice boolits. I bet you are just having way to much fun ! Some day a star will shine on my bench but the way things are going, some one else will be in possession of my bench !
Keep up the good work !
