Team.

Abby turned 5 on Monday and started school. Not sure where 5 years went!

We had a party for her on Saturday and ordered ponies to call. When they arrived the next gig the pony lady had was a full 'farm yard' so she unloaded 3 ponies, a donkey, 3 rats, 2 rabbits, 2 dogs and a piglet.

Here is Abby on the pony named Lollipop:

And with yours truly holding 'Belinda' the Kuni Kuni pig who had a ball in my flower and vege patch:

Here is Abby ready for school with her new scooter, bag and uniform:

It was a proud day for all.

Just wonderful! Glad to see everyone had such a great day. Be careful about dealing with pigs...you might get the bug to hunt them... :)

My little one turned thirty this year, still remember the day each started school. Then comes the grandkids and the memories start over.

this year I have two granddaughters who want grandpa to go with them to get their first turkey.

Enjoy it now Jeff. Someday you'll be sitting in amongst however many other parents watching your "little one" walk across the stage and accept her HS diploma.
It goes fast. At times not fast enough....(the growing pains), then you realize your little girls all grown up and ready to explore the world on her own, and you'll wonder where the time went.

Your family is beautiful and the calm satisfied smiles on all tell the tale of a loving set of parents and well-cared for children.

Well done and thanks for sharing pictures. Now I want a pony!

Cherish every moment you and the Mrs can with those two! You will look back one day and wonder where the time went! My little girl turns 40 this year and it seems like yesterday she was in diapers and sleeping in dad's arms. ENJOY while you can!

Lovely young ladies, Jeff, and you have a beautiful family.

Bear in mind that in approximately eleven to twelve years, there will be young boy-creatures who will come courting for Abby's affections. If you think the first five years went by quick, watch out for the next ten years.

I'm thinking some jiu jitsu training starting when she turns six and perhaps a couple of short-barreled shotguns--one for you, one for the missus--might be in order in the near future. :)

Great stuff Jeff, the family are all looking well. You wonder where five years went, my wee girl is 27 & married in January. I wonder where the years went. Cheers to the family.

Don't work like that mate. You raise a strong daughter and she'll be the one deciding. All the guns in the world won't help when she says daddy............

Jeff, I read somewhere and did the math myself, that if your children live with you for 18 years that is only 936 weekends. At 5 years of age you have about 676 weekends left before they move out on their own. Anything past that is bonus time.

You always seems to be doing something with your family and I applaud you for that. I see too many parents here in the states that their weekends with their kids is wasted.

Thank you for the updates, I truly do enjoy them.
