Not hard to get at all, Track Of The Wolf has them in stock:

Or for 0.680" bag mould:

Oddly, I find I have trouble with their website but both are in stock.

Last week I ordered a Lee .690 RB mold from midwayusa and it came in today. I was surprised to see it was the new mold block style. It looks ok and I'm looking forward to casting a few and work up some loads. Should be good fun.

What's the new mold block style like?

My Lee .690 is a few years old, nothing wrong with it. Is the new block better?

i saw one if i remember they have guide pins like the 6 cap. molds. should be a lot better. i ordered the .678 lyman, but i am running low on real win aa pinks, so does the claybuster a good substitute with the ridges inside the pedals. i am thinking i will be ok because the ball makes contact higher in the shot cup where the ridge is thiner. should i get the waa12l or the waa12sl equivalent. also it is in a win aahs hull

Well, the new .690 RB mold casts nice round projectiles. I have been making one piece fiber wads that center the RB in the hull and provide a little cushion to the ball. If it weren't raining today. I would be launching some test loads. I'm trying to configure a more efficient way to form the wads, sounds like a trip to the hardware store is in order. More to follow!
