Lead "foam" tape?

I was sorting through a bucket of used wheel weights and came across what I think may be some sort of lead-impregnated foam tape. I'm not sure, though - it just seemed to be a bit heavier than a typical piece of foam tape and it was in the box of wheel weights I got from my friend at the auto dealership. Have y'all ever come across such a thing?

I've come across some of those recently myself. I just threw them away as I wasn't sure what the makeup was. It was a very small portion of what I had as far as stick-on weights.
Maybe someone will be along soon who can tell us both more about what it is actually comprised of.

Yep.. I got some mixed in WW's ,I threw it away also

i tryed to melt them ended up with a stinky mess and steel powder no lead , now i toss em ..
