Hit a home run this weekend. Fellow bought a Savage Mod. 10 last fall, shot a deer and found out he dont like venison. Got the rifle, with accy-trigger and a Redfield scope, rings and bases for $300.00.
Now, can anyone tell me who has 308 brass for sale. Struck out at all my jobbers!

$170 for 468 pieces of mixed HS? That is a bit steep...

Check with starreloader, a vendor sponsor here. If he has some , his prices are good, shipping is fast and all the brass I have bought from him looked new.

I need about 200 also, prefer non-mil brass. Haven't found any in last 2 months.

Just curious as to why you prefer non military brass? I know it is a PITA sometimes to get the primer pocket crimp removed, but it is heavier brass that if given the proper care will last at least 2x as long as commercial brass. I have worn out bolt guns with 20 pcs of brass. I had a heavy barreled 6mm rem that I would target shoot and varmint hunt with, that over a period of 15 years once I found the 20 pcs of brass I wanted, cut down mil brass, never saw any other brass but those 20 pcs. I shot that rifle dang near every day and gave up on it when it started to keyhole one every once in a while. I still had 15 of the original pcs left. I also took very good care of them, by keeping them trimmed, annealed, inside neck reamed, etc. Do I take that care with my brass today? No, but I am not shooting competitively nor blasting ground hogs at 400+yards anymore either.
Best wishes,
Joe

I went out to the shop and found 67 pieces of 7.62x51... it's range pick-up, mixed HS. Yours for the princely sum of $9.33 shipped (scrap brass price+SFRB).

I have to agree with Joe. I use Milsurp brass exlcusively. I'm still working on the same 500 LC LR brass I bought back in 2008. It will finally all be 4X fired soon and I can anneal it and keep on going!!
