Anyone using this mold for their 45-70? I ordered the mold the other day and am hoping to load it in the 45-70 that is also on order. Anyone have input good, bad, or otherwise?
Thanks

Slug your bore when you get the rifle and cast a few boolits when you get the mould and then you will know if the boolits fit and also what to size them to if they do.

What 45-70 are you going to shoot it in? I paper patch that boolit.

I ordered an Marlin 1895 GBL to shoot these from. I am not sure what this bullet typically drops at and nor do I know what the barrels on the newer Marlin's typically slug at. I do plan on slugging the barrel once the rifle arrives.
I was just curious if anyone had experience with this bullet in the Marlin 45-70's.
I had a Marlin Guide Gun mine needed a larger boolit than .457.
