He's had it listed at $499.99 for the last couple months. It must be "sequestration" taking its toll.:holysheep That's a pretty good appreciation on his investment.

You guys are missing the key part. "Free Standard Shipping"

Makes this Lee Pro 1000 a bargain at 1/3 the price. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEE-PRO-1000-PROGRESSIVE-PRESS-223-5-56-BRAND-NEW-TUNED-DIES-READ-DESCRIPTION-/181096559087?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a2a3231ef)

Perhaps you want Dillon 650 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Unused-Dillon-XL-650-Press-Factory-Setup-For-223-W-O-Dies-/261182305594?pt =LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ccfadb53a). Or you got a really good tax return and want to go hog wild on a Dillon 650 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dillon-XL-650-Reloading-Press-Complete-Package-with-Tons-of-Accessories-/251243348672?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a7f4542c0).

You'll notice that he claims it's a "prototype" in the headline.....then you're told it "looks" like a prototype in the ad description. Oh, what the hey.........the shipping's free anyway!

I agree, rediculously priced, however if some sap buys it, who then is the fool????

That used to be a good seller, I bought a lot of neat tools from them, then for an unknown reason they got silly greedy.
The RCBS press was made in 1954, hardly a prototype, and there is no prototype for the pre- A presses anyway. They have been informed of what they have and the price really went up. They also have a CV Schmitt Model 24 that I would really like to have, but not for $950 with no dies, reduced from $999. Other presses they have had were priced at nearly triple their average eBay selling price.

Looks like the whole thing has been sandblasted and repainted, too. Even the ram appears to have sandblasted rust pits. Yeah, real cherry collectible there!
