Anyone using compressed loads with H110 or Lil' Gun using this boolit / gun combination? Or with these powders?

With an OAL of 1.660, 29 grains of H110 yields 49435 PSI and 1858 FPS (Quickload). But it's a 5% compressed load. I see other loads posted here that appear to be compressed (with other bullets), but thought I'd check in, to be safe.

Anyone using these compressed loads with good success and no issues? Or am I headed in the wrong direction?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Freedom arms shows 30 grn of h110 and a oal of 1.765 for their factory load.that is with their 300 grn jword bullet.Don't know if this is gonna help your shoulder or not?The Hodgdon site shows the same load at 53,700 cup.

Thanks, but that OAL won't cycle in the Rossi, at least not mine. Not without some grinding work, which I really don't want to do.

The Lee bullet has a wide meplat and shorter nose, it won't cycle in the bottom crimp groove but does fine in the top groove. That produces the 1.660 OAL, in my original post.

I know shooters have gone to heavier charges with the 300-RF and wanted to verify if they were compressed loads.
