Made my first Sporting Clays shoot for this year today. I lucked up and won a Tikka T3 Lite, Syn stock, 25-06 caliber.
I don't know beans about this brand of gun. It's got a Beretta Label on the box plus I see Sako on the box. It has imported by Beretta too.
What is this thing? Anybody got one? Anybody know anything about this rifle?

http://www.tikka.fi/t3models.php?lite. Here is a link to the Tikka Website. Always liked the 25-06. http://www.tikka.fi/company.php here is a writeup on Sako. Looks like this was your lucky day.

I have a 30-06 in stainless I picked up used with a Bushnell 3200 scope, nice rifle, light, a VERY smooth barrel with an oddball 1/11 twist, loves 150 grain bullets and shoots 1" with them at 200 yards, bolt very smooth, trigger nice and single stack polymer mag works well.
I'd buy another.

I also have a Tikka .308 with a bull barrel. Like it a lot, nickle size groups at 100 yards with jacketed all day long, still working up a load for cast, only getting 1.5"-2" at 50 yards using unique and a Lee C309-160 boolit w/45.45.10 lube. I think I'd like a better trigger down the road.

Got a good reply over on the Marlin forum.

I have had several different Tikka rifles and still have one T3 in 7mm-08. These rifles are guaranteed to shoot MOA out of the box and I never owned one that didn't. A friend of mine just asked about what bolt rifle I would get in .308 if I was just starting out and I told him about the Tikka line. Your rifle would sell in the neighborhood of $565 from Bud's internet site. Tikka was owned by Sako and now both are owned by Beretta. They have a plastic magazine that is a problem for some but I have never had an issue with it. Replacement mags are rather expensive though.
