When I tore down one of my Swedish m/1867 sporters to include removal of the barrel, the back and forth assembly of the triggerguard got to be a minor irritation in that I wasn't wanting to screw things back together but "fit" them for other purposes.

I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with the use of slave pins for this purpose....

good idea, while on the subject of these beauties, is it true that the recievers were first made of iron and then made of steel around 1875 or is that a mith.
