Help, My Rossi 357 rifle mag door locks up when loading

I have a new Rossi 38/357 20" rifle magazine door gets rounds wedged under it and will not allow me to continue loading it until i eject a round and then continue loading.
It seems to be allowing a round to slide backward under the door very slitley and the door hits the rim of a loaded round in the magazine and will not drop down for adding more ammo.
It hapenes at diferent times while loading.

Any ideas of how to fix this problem ?

If you bought the rifle new (as opposed to "new to you"), I'd contact Rossi about warranty service. There should be a stop that's supposed to prevent this, and it probably just needs adjusting, but you shouldn't have to do this yourself on a new rifle.

I agree if new factory should fix it - if you got it used - you can fix it
