Does anyone on the forum make or modify round ball molds?

I need a .595 mold and cannot find any. Any information will
be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Contact Jeff Tanner, Jim: http://www.jt-bullet-moulds.co.uk/ I have 2 of his RB moulds (sic), which cast perfectly.

I've shot my .50 for decades using a .495 RB. However, I would recommend you buy a box of speer .495's and use them....for target and hunting they are more accurate. they have little air dents like a golfball, (makes them fly truer. Old cannon balls were dented on deck to do that, watch Master and Commander)... and NO sprue. That is the big thing. for everyday, a .495 cast would be ok....Ken

I had jt make me a .595 for A .615 smoothie.it is akward to use ( compared to one with sprue plate) but service was fast and the price very fair.they are very small and heat needs to be watched carefully.

I had to go the Jeff Tanner route, also. I don't know if the .595 has been cut very often by the larger companies, as only a few of us weird smooth bore shooters use 'em.

I offered a mold above and no offers; thats okay.
I cast some this past Sunday and with pure Pb I got .596-.597.
I am also learning that this ball can be used for a 20Gauge smoothbores.
Nonetheless the offer still stands; someone tell me how much they want to pay and I will take pictures and send it on it's merry way to a home that can use it.
When I purchased this mold, I payed $45 for a box full of stuff; the box had a Lyman 450 lubesizer with about 5 size dies, molds in 7MM, 36RB, 50 cal. REAL,RB and minie, 45 RB, 595RB, 690RB and many bread bags of new 12ga Federal paper hulls and new WWAA 12Ga Plastic hulls.
