Pin direction?

Hi Folks,

I've often read that when working on the Blackhawk revolver it is required to push pins out from left to right, and insert them from right to left. The pins are not tapered, nor are the holes. How can it matter which way a cylindrical pin goes into a cylindrical hole?

No, only the direction of the pin like the hammer pin that is held by a grip frame screw and the trigger pin held by the gate spring, that one can be a bugger.
