does anyone make a grip for j-frames that allows you to get your pinkie finger wraped around the grip? I hate having my little finge hangin in the air underneath the grip.

Hogue has a nice selection of J-frame grips with pinkie perches for both round-butt and square-butt frames. www.hogueinc.com

I think Pachmayr Gripper grips do. You would need to check tho, I'm not really sure.

Pachmayr Compacs have a niche for the little finger. It fits my hand, but just barely.

I have rather large hands (mostly long fingers and palm) and the Packmayr Compacs work beautifully for me as well as those with much smaller hands). They absorb recoil from "heavy" loads and just make the process more friendly.

However, they are a bit "sticky" and clothing does not slip over them quite as easily. Everything is a compromise but I think these are right up there for shootable concealment grips. I give them an A+. Now, if you are more concerned with "pretty" as opposed to "functional" you will like something else better (Mexican lizard skin, perhaps:roll: ?)

If anyone is interested we have some oversize wood grips for the J frame for I think about $20.00 They are closer to K frame in size and designed like the Smith wood grips but have a small thumb rest.

I, too, have fairly large hands and the rubber Hogues work fine on both my SP101 and on my wife's Mod 60 "Ladysmith."
