I bought a 4 Cavity SAECO , .45 cal. mold from Erik at :

http://www.hollowpointmold.com/.

I requested the Inset-Bar hollow point bullet mold conversion that Erik is so noted for.

The mold arrived today.

WOW ! !

To say I'm thrilled is a big under statement.
This mold cast very nice .4535" dia. hollow points about as fast as I can cast them with a conventional 2 cavity mold casting solids.

Erik's work is near perfection. The HP pins were smooth and offered no sticking of bullets on the pins.

Erik told me on the phone that this system would " spoil " me., well he is right, looks like I'm spoiled now.

I cast these in about 20 minutes :

New Model Ruger 45 ACP Vaq.
I also have a Ruger 9.5 " 454 Casull that is super accurate with 45 Long Colt loads. I'm anxious to try this bullet in some Long Colt cases also.

Looks like a lot of fun! I have a Ruger with the 45LC and 45ACP cylinders. It eats up the Lee 200gr stuffed into a 45ACP case with some 700X. Nice and mild out of the RBH and fun to shoot! Thanks for sharing

That's really very nice, Ben. Might be me but that boolit looks like it DID weigh closer to 200 grains before
the HP work - unlike the H&G 130 - yes ?? Mike
