Well its finally up and running...sort of! One of my hobbies is Collecting Potter reloading equipment. I have accumulated so much information on Potter stuff that I decided to share what I have learned. I have more work to do on it, but I have gotten much accomplished. If you get a chance, check it out and tell me what you think...remember, its still under construction.

Nice site, and good job on the history of these presses. Never heard of them, but I really enjoy old mechanical devices and the engineering that made them work.

Thanks !

Good Job! Work you should be very proud of.
I think I read everything twice. Not ready to take the Potter history test yet, but soon.

Roundnoser,
I know I'm a bit late, but I have known about your site since before I knew of this one! I have a Potter (baby) casting pot, Duplex Press, and ingot mould I inherited. I notice that on your site the "Lead Casting Equipment" area is empty. If you would like any photos I would be glad to send them along!
FYI, your site was how I identified what these were, thank you so very much for your hard work!

Great job! You can really be proud of that! I really have never heard of Potter - very interesting write ups - I love reading histories like that - it's nice that you are sharing it with others. Thanks for the link - I for one have bookmarked it and will be back! That'e one of those things that if someone doesn't take an interest in it and take the time to collect and preserve the information, it will be lost over time. My hat is off to you for your efforts and willingness to share!

NorthernNH,
The lead casting equipment page is a work in progress. I just have not had the time to get to it. If I run short on photos, I'll send you a PM. I'm really glad that folks like the site. I think there have been more than 2000 people who have looked at it so far. -- The Potters have found some long lost reloading and lube-sizing equipment that I hope to clean, inspect and photograph. It may take a good bit of time to make those arrangements, but well worth it IMO. One of the pieces is a rare prototype which we believe has been stored away since the mid-50's.

Thanks to everyone for your great comments. Also, I'd want to give credit to our own CB member FC60 who is making custom dies for the Potter presses. If any of you have seen or own a set of Dave's Star (cartridge) reloading dies, you know what I mean when I say they are pieces of art. He has made a couple of shell plates and a 41 Mag sizing die for me , and a set of 9mm dies for a gentleman in Virginia (If I recall).
