who makes a .678 round ball mold?

anyone know if Lee precision makes one? or if there is an alternative to Lyman. Nothing against lyman just the price. At over $100 for mold and handles you better know which mold you need is all. Know what I mean guys?

Anyway any advice where to get molds these days? thanks

It's on the site - any specified size within range

Ball Moulds

Up to 0.60" £20 Pounds
0.61 to 0.850" £25 Pounds
0.850 to 1.050" £30 Pounds

Heavy Metal is supposed to be doing same but operation has yet to take flight from what I have seen.

Greetings, Lyman makes that mold of steel and costs more than 3 times when compared to Lee mold, I really wish Lee would make that .610", .625, .665", .678" and .732" Round ball molds!
I had that mold and found far too much meat in the rest of the mold so I converted it to a double sided mold

Here is another option, look into it:

We all need to experiment and take a chance, never know:

Both Lyman and RCBS make 0.678" ball moulds.

Track of the Wolf sells scissor moulds that probably aren't of high quality but okay for smoothbore shotgun shooting. They are $39.99 and are available in 0.680":

These guys have 0.678" but their price is rather steep:

Pedersoli makes 0.675" and 0.682":

Lots of sources if you look.

While I agree with Ajay about it being unfortunate that Lee doesn't make a 0.678" +/- a bit mould, my Lyman moulds are very nice and cast well. At $68.00 they are not unaffordable.

What would be nice is a tow or more cavity round ball mould for 12 ga. If Heavy Metal Moulds ever gets into production we may get that too.

Jeff Tanner in England can custom make for $50 delivered. Google Jeff Tanner MOULDS. You have to spell molds the English way.
