--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I still have some of this linotype metal left. I bought the lot from a retiring gun dealer who would only sell me the entire lot. ....Then, I never used any, since I got into casting pure lead for black powder.....

It's all packed up as listed below, and ready to go, all shipping is USPS flat rate or $7.70 per pkg.

The cost is approx $.40/lb.

1st PM'd, first served.

62#==>$25 +$7.70 = $32.70
60#==>$24 +$7.70 = $31.70
54#==>$21 +$7.70 =$28.70
45#==>$18 +$7.70 = $25.70
41#==>$16 +$7.70 = $23.70

David, you're fortunate to be dealing with a first class detective here. I ran his email address down for you. Send to: offhand35@charter.net

Huh! The thread on Graybeard is gone. Had a few replies in it too...

He's out. I got the last of it. Guess he pulled the thread when he had sold all of it.

Oh well, I have plenty of lead right now... I just couldn't turn down a chance for more at that price.

Odd that Graybeard lets you delete a thread after there are replies. I can't think of any other board that does...

He requests that the poster edit the title with the word :Sold" when the item is sold. Then he or one of his helpers removes the listing and all the replys. To save bandwidth? I see nothing wrong with it.

Maybe... I'd rather there was a more permanent record of what was offered and accepted. I've had great experiences with most of the folks I've dealt with on line, but every now and again you run across someone less than honorable.
