I just picked up some lead, about 30 pounds is dental foil lead the XRF gun said it was 95+% lead, tin, antimony, with trace amounts of iron/nickle/something called halfmeium or something like that with trace amounts of a few other things I have not heard of, no Zinc at all.

The rest (60 pounds or so) is a mixture that depending on what pieces were tested showed as 85+% lead/ with tin/antimony and traces of other stuff, again no Zinc at all or 90+%lead/ with tin/antimony and traces of other stuff, again no Zinc at all.

The 85% and 90% are mixed ingots/pieces that can not be told apart with out testing every piece with the XRF gun which is not possible, so I am going to melt and mix them together.

But should I mix the dental lead with it all or keep it separate?

by the time you melt down and clean the dental foil you'll have a lot less.
the 85% stuff could be linotype.
and the 90% could be lyman #2 or hardball.
i'd maybe,, man... yeah i'd mix it.
i'd throw a bunch more soft stuff in with it too, like another 60 lbs.
or just mix it all together and add it to ww's at about 25% or something.
i hate dealing with mystery lead.
