Are Lee fcd in 9mm the same as 380acp? I wonder if I can use my 9mm fcd to bulge bust 380acp?

Don't believe so, Devil Dog. The base of the 9x19 is larger than the .380. If you bought a .380 FCD separately, you could probably use the push pin from the 9mm setup.

Not the same sized cases.

Intensely dislike the pistol type FCDs. A solution looking for a problem. I recommend
avoiding them.

Thanks for the info, I'm still up in the air about the bulge bust deal, I may try turning the taper off the bottom of the sizer die and see if that will let the brass go farther in to rid the bulge.

Properly used, the Lee Precision FCDs make the ammunition more uniform and for sure help ensure reliability in semi-auto-pistols. If you go to Midway USA and read owner reviews/ratings you will see why they are essentially a 5/5 star products. Very useful if properly used.
