Raked 3 lanes at the pistol range . 1 1/2 hours latter I had 11 , 2 gallon buckets filled and loaded in the truck . Almost 80 pounds a bucket .Marvin

Nice score! Does your range have sand or something else in the backstop? Mine does, and I'm working on the best way to get as much sand and rocks out of the scrap as possible. Currently I'm using the sifter I use to get media out of my tumbled brass.

Dang nice haul. My berms are clay, sifting is about pointless.
You are gonna get a few ingots from that.

It is sand . The rocks and sand come to the top during the melt . Marvin

That batch looks clean compared to the clay at my range! I am envious, except that your back will hurt after all that work. Joe

Compared to clay it is clean . But there is a lot of sand that gets trapped in the jackets and sticks to the lube .Marvin

Yea, that is true but easy to skim off the top.
