After casting and reloading for well over 30 years I can assure you that you don't have enough room for everything that you will continue to acquire. Eventually you will have huge 20 gal plastic tubs with lids filled with stuff stacked to the ceiling in one or more corners, and rows of shelves packed full of the things you use most often. On another note, what you have so far looks great.

Best wishes,

Joe

Nice, hey I'm a huge fan of empty Skippy peanut butter jars as well. I use them to store boolits awaiting size-n-lube and small lots of brass on the bench. I also agree with Boerrancher, in that you will accumulate more stuff that supports your addiction that your current setup will not hold it all. I use my garage for all my over runs.

You're off to a good start. As has been said, you're gonna need more. See if you can go get
a couple more of those for starters. Mike

Nice neat storage but far to small, as others have said get more shelving you will need it.

As a guy with home made pine shelves on my craftsman bench, gorilla shelf units and a craftsman wall locker type cabinet. I would say that you will always have a bit of mess to look at.

One day when i resettle I would like to do the whole reloading space with kitchen cabinet thing to let the majority of the "mess" be less of an eyesore. Just my $0.02

ETA- not only does putting stuff behind cabinet doors dress up your work area it keeps the dust from accumulating on that spensive doodad you only use twice a year.

I agree. I had a neat little desk that nicely accommodated 2 shotgun presses and the little partner press 3 standard die sets ,200# of lead shot,100# of steel shot, and a neat little cabinet for 35# of powder wads and primers in the desk........then I bought the 45/410,and 2000 plated and commercial cast.. then my 1st mould and a BRNO Mauser.............. 11 years ago everything fit in 3 20mm ammo cans, today its more like 2 pickup loads......

Go ahead and start building the next cabinet.

And then see if you can find one of those storage trailers.

Storage will always be a problem for some of us, I have a 7'x6' work area which also includes my computer, printer & filing cabinet.

One day I may be able to move to a larger home but circumstances prevent that, for now the area I have will have to do everything I need, besides I can only operate one press at a time :-D

Its amazing how & where you find places to store equipment & material's. :)

Wait until you go to move. You will think every piece reloading gear bred and multiplied. plus two pickup loads of lead ingots.

One of the considerations on our next move will be a dedicated "Man Cave." Roughly 1/3 of my available garage space is reloading/casting only. I'm sure I could cut it down some with overhead storage, but she seems more motivated to move the more cluttered it looks. I'm shooting for a three bay garage....(fingers crossed) ;-)

I'm offended those are JIF jars.

I know y'all are right about running out of room, my cabinet is already about full, and I thought it would be plenty big. I do my reloading in a shop that I use for everything from changing oil in vehicles to wood working to processing deer meat. An office/trophy room/reloading room/man cave is on the list.
