I've been looking for a 44 WC mold , preferably a Lee. I think a TL would be ideal but I've never seen one. Did Lee or anyone else ever make one?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Lee 429-208 is/was a full wadcutter that is out of production for quite a while now. It originally was a one cavity and later was made in 2 cavity. It could be lubed with the TL method; I used to use a standard lubrisizer and it worked/shot accurately for me in 44 Mag and Special, using light to moderate charges of powder. It was easy to cast. No one other than Lee made that particular design although there are other 44 wadcutters around. That Lee is still probably out there, but you will have to advertise/seek it out and it may take a while to dig one up. LLS

If you know the specs. Tom @ AccurateMolds.com could probably copy the design for you.

he has a 220 wc that might be closenuff and a 185,so a 200 would be doable.

That 220WC looks like just the ticket. Thanks for the link.

NOE made a run of 110, 155 (Ithink), and 230 Grain WC molds. I've a five cavity 230 grainer and a 2 cavity 110 grainer. They are nice!! I'd have preferred the 155 to be 180-200 grains and would have bought one of those too, but alas, such was not to be.
