So for those of you that were in on the group buy, or got one straight from NOE. (I was in on the buy, had to drop out for financial reasons, financial reasons went away to late to get back in on the buy, so I got one from NOE).

What load recipe are you using?

I just loaded 5 different test loads using bullseye (ranging from 4.0 gr to 5.7 gr), lubed with BAC and seated to 1.225.

I'll post my results after I get out to test them. What have others had good/bad results with?

Sorry, I don't have BE, so I don't load it, I was using Am. Sel. because I had more than a littl eof it, and was using 5.7gr of it under that boolit. It shot really great out of my 5", but I couldn't get it to feed thru my 4" carry gun so i sold the mold.

I haven't put them on paper, other than just to see what kind of hole they made, and by the way, they make a nice clean hole.
I've loaded some mild loads of BE. 4.3 tops, 3.6 on the bottom end. I was having some feeding problems. Tried various recoil springs. Not much seems to make a difference, till I tried a new mag. It seems that it was the old G.I. style mags that was the culprit.
Right now, 3.6 BE with a 12 lb spring and a new mag seems to be the ticket. I'm sure heavier loads with a heavier spring could work, but for now,I'm happy with what I have.

Thanks, I'm not asking for Alliant Bullseye loads exclusively, I was simple sharing my test loads. I'd like to hear about other loads worked up with any other powder as well.

Have had very good results with it in 45 ACP for many yrs.. 4.0 -to- 4.2 should get the job done , may depend on the weight of your recoil spring . Heavier ='s more powder. My 2¢. Russ.

Thanks Russ, I don't know if I can get clays, but I know I can get Red Dot. I may try that if I don't have good luck with Bullseye

I don't have the NOE mold, but I have loaded commercial Penn and Magnus bullets which look much the same - they are about 0.568" long and weigh about 154 grains. A load I like is 5.5 grains of Green Dot, with a COL of 1.245". This was a tad too light for a Glock 21 Gen 4 with its heavy spring, but putting a 0.055" wax (sheet of dental baseplate wax pressed into the case mouth) wad under the bullet raised the pressure enough for reliable function, with the empty cases just kicking free of the gun. A key to getting them to work for me was to run the loaded rounds through a Lee "factory" die set to size the neck down to 0.471 or no more than 0.472"; after that, feeding was slick.

So I finally got out today and tried out 5 different test loads and, of them, I had excellent accuracy with 4.6 grains of Bullseye, using BAC lube and OAL of 1.223

With the LEE 160 I've had great results with WST 5.4-5.6 grains

Picked up the NOE mold from their website, as an over-run from the group buy. Drops out at 164 grains with my alloy.
In my Commander: 1.235" COL with Ramshot Competition 4.5 grains, 835 fps and shoots to point of aim at 50 feet. Bill.

I don't cast for this bullet, but bought a pile from a local caster for a 'rockbottom' price. My load was 5 grs. WST. I tried others but always came back to this.

The length of the bullet makes feeding problematical. I went back to 200 gr. SWCs and never looked back.
