Has anyone here ever converted a Lee Magnum Melter Furnace 110 Volt 20lbs into a bottom pour pot? Can I order the parts from Lee and convert it?

probably,or for 6 dollars more you can get the whole thing.
it never hurts to have more than one casting pot.
i have 4 bottom pours and two other i use for other stuff, and i am thinking about another bottom pour.

I think with the problems associated with this conversion, it would be cheaper and better in the long run to just spend the extra cash and buy the bottom pour....

First thing I did was to remove all the junk and plug the hole! [smilie=1:
I wanted the Magnum Melter but they were out of stock.
I am a confirmed ladle caster.

Yeap. Me too. Removed the pouring mech and got a big, aggressive self tapping screw. No more leaky leak. Prefer the ladle anywho.
