Really beautiful wood. You should add a magwell. will give it a nice finished look. Great job though!

Wow, those are gorgeous! I've never worked with bocote, but I have with cocobola and found it to be brutal stuff on tools. A couple of the acoustic guitars I built wear fretboards and bridges of cocobola and that stuff literally took teeth off one of my best dovetail saws. I love how it takes a polish though, and you got the stain just right. Very very nice job!

Thank you. There is no stain on the bocote or cocobolo ( both are oily enough ) sanded to 1500 and machine buffed :-D.

Beautiful wood, and finish. I prefer the angled bottom grips. I think they would be less likely to dent or chip out when bumped during normal use. Of course I am old school. I used to use a blue steel grip cap on stock S&W stocks for duty use with a Model 19.

Very nice! Which ever set you don't want, I will take off your hands! ......the dark wood ones are killer! How much would a set of those cost me if you were inclined to sell them? Might be over killer on my ss Colt 1991.
